Seashell Travel has been in business since 2001 in the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex city of Sachse Texas and is a home based full service agency. We have clients all over the US. While we aren't (yet!) the largest travel agency, we are growing. And while we aren't the oldest travel agency around we intend to be around in the long term. I have been deeply involved in travel my whole life, but professionally since 1997. I graduated at that time with my 3rd college degree, this one in Travel & Tourism Management. Traveling to and selling packages to tropical destinations are the passions of my life. Enthusiasm for my work has never been a problem for me! I specialize in Tropical travel, as that is my special passion, but I do sell travel to many other places. Travel Agents & What We Do

There are many misconceptions about how a travel agent earns their money. The first one is you, the client, pays your Travel Agent for their services. NOT TRUE. Some Travel Agents charge their clients for everything; here at Seashell Travel, most suppliers pay us. When you book a tour, rent a car or take a cruise we get paid by the Tour Operator, the Car Rental Company or the Cruise Line. Since most of the Airline Carriers no longer pay any commission to Travel Agents, we charge $20 for each airline ticket.

Another myth about Travel Agents is that we only do airline tickets and cruises. That is NOT TRUE. We can handle all of your travel needs. We book escorted tour packages, individual packages, car rentals and hotel accommodations all around the world.

Travel Agency Versus The Airlines

Remember, without a travel agent you're on your own! Seashell is a preeminent travel agency. We use our extensive knowledge on behalf of each of our clients. We exist to serve YOUR travel needs.

In the past few years more and more travelers believe they can find a better deal online, whether it is at a big Internet travel provider or just an individual agency running a special. If you book online, be careful that you are getting what you want. Another travel agent recently told me that a client had purchased tickets online, only to reach the airport and discover that he had booked San Jose, California instead of San Jose del Cabo!

Here at Seashell Travel, we always strive to find what you are looking for. If it's the lowest price, we look for that. If it's the best deal, we look for that as well. We understand if you don't want to pay the fee for an airline ticket and if you are comfortable purchasing these online. • We will live by our values and ethics.
• We will adhere to our client's rights.
• We will provide our client with a copy of our customer disclosure notice, if wanted.
• Accurate records will be kept.
• We will make sure that any information on suppliers that have financial problems, or many complaints from travelers is disclosed to our clients.
• We will obey all federal, state and local laws.
• We will provide travel protection insurance information to our clients with our recommendation to purchase for their protection
• We will constantly work to keep abreast of changes and continute to improve our knowledge in the travel industry.

LEGAL STATEMENT OF LIABILITY - CUSTOMER DISCLOSURE STATEMENT

We at Seashell Travel will do our very best to serve you, our client. Seashell Travel is merely an agent for the Suppliers identified on your travel documents. We are not a direct supplier of travel related products, such as air, hotel, ground or water transportation, meals, excursions, etc. Thus, Seashell Travel is not responsible for breach of contract or any intentional or careless actions or omissions by suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay or injury to you or your companions or group members. Remember that if the term "guaranteed" is specifically stated in writing on your invoice, itinerary, tickets or any other travel document, Seashell Travel does not guarantee any of the suppliers' rates, bookings, reservations, connections, scheduling, or handling of personal effects. Our agents are not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest (strikes), mechanical or construction failures, or difficulties, diseases, local laws to which all travelers are subject to, climate conditions (storms, hurricanes, etc.), or any abnormal conditions outside the agent's control.

The tour operators and airlines, their agents and affiliates, shall not be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on their property or on board their aircraft. The passenger resort coupon(s) and/or ticket in use by said resort or airline, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between that resort or airline and purchaser of these coupons and tickets and/or the passenger.

Seashell Travel has taken all reasonable steps to ensure that proper arrangements have been made for your vacation, through arrangements with airlines and independent resort supplier, to provide you with the services you purchase. We do not accept liability whatsoever for actions or omissions of these suppliers, over whom we have no direct control. Should you have any dispute with such persons or organizations, however, we will give you such reasonable help as we can to assist in resolving potential disputes.

Pricing is based on the lowest promotional rates offered by resorts and tour operators we deal with. The lowest rates, specific categories of rooms and suites and scheduled or charter air may not always be available for all departure dates requested. Certain "special" or promotional rates may have special conditions of payment associated with them. Our intention is to offer and provide you with the vacation you have selected, at the price in effect at time of booking.

As the traveler, you assume complete and full responsibility for (and hereby release Seashell Travel's employees or owner from) any duty or checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safety and security conditions of such destinations, during the length of the proposed travel. By embarking upon your travel, you voluntarily assume all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. As the traveler, you are hereby warned of the above risks as well as possible travel industry bankruptcies and medical and climatic disruptions, and are advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against them.

Your acceptance of tickets, reservations, or bookings after insurance constitutes consent to the above and an agreement on your part to convey the contents to your travel companions or group members.
